Giving blood saves lives, but there is something you can do to save even more: become an organ donor. But not enough people are doing that, according to a new report.Data released today shows that 11 thousand people die each year before they can receive a lifesaving organ transplant. That's 30 people every day, the equivalent of 22 jumbo jets crashing every year with no survivors. Donate Life America says 117 million people were enrolled in state donor registries by the end of 2013. That number is growing, but experts say it's not enough to meet the growing national transplant waiting list.If you would like to register as a donor, click here.
