Danville, VA -- Going out to eat Tuesday can make a big difference. That's because it's God's Storehouse's 4th annual 'Eat Out to Help Out'. 36 Danville and Pittsylvania County restaurants are participating in the event. 10% of each restaurant's sales for the day will go to God's Storehouse. They use the money towards their operations funds. God's Storehouse hopes to raise $10,000 this year but they're not the only ones benefiting."It really helps the restaurants out, it gets people out. Danvillians really like to eat out so I think this is a good thing for everybody," said Karen Harris, Director of God's Storehouse.Participating restaurants include: The Brown Bean, Chathamooca, Checkered Pig BBQ & Ribs, Danview Restaurant, Dell's Anno's Pizza Kitchen, Domino's Pizza, El Vallarta MexicaRestaurantnt, Franks Italian Restaurant, Golden Leaf Bistro, Golden Skillet (Piney Forest Rd. and US Hwy 29), Highlander Restaurant, Jake's on Main, Joe & Mimma's Italian Restaurant, Kentucky Fried Chicken (Memorial Drive and Piney Forest Road), Libby Hill Seafood, Little Caesars, Los Tres Magueyes, Main Street Coffee Emporium, Mary's Diner, Nonni's Italian Eatery, O'Kelly's (Piney Forest Rd, S. Main St., and Brosville), Pino's Pizza, PJ's Book and Deli, San Marcos Mexican Restaurant (Coleman Market & US Hwy 29), Santana's Restaurant & Grill, State Line Diner, Sweet Frog, Taco Bell (Riverside Dr. and Piney Forest Rd), and Western Sizzlin.
