Lynchburg, VA - It's the end for a piece of a history at Virginia Episcopal School.
Friday, workers began demolishing Mingea Cottage. The old farmhouse had been around since the 1890's.
V.E.S. decided to tear it down in order to expand school facilities under its new master plan.
Some Virginia Episcopal School Alumni who are upset about the move and where the school is headed created a Facebook page called 'Save Mingea Cottage and VES Heritage.'
