Democratic Candidates Kick Off Phone Bank in Danville

Danville, VA - Democratic candidates are revving up voters in Danville.

Tim Kaine, Mark Warner and John Douglass were all at the Danville Democratic Headquarters Friday.

They kicked off a phone bank to get people to vote.

Democratic candidate for Congress John Douglass talked a lot about what he would do with jobs and education.

He says with very little time left, those who are still on the fence about who they should vote for, should think about the issues most important to them.

"That we take care of our seniors and our veterans and it's about making sure we keep our environment clean, stopping that uranium mining, so lots of clear choice between the candidates from the President right on down to me."

The candidates made stops at several areas in the Commonwealth Friday and will make their last stop in Emporia.
