Danville, VA - Some big country artists are coming to Danville this summer. It's all part of Harvest Jubilee's concert series. Monday they announced that Billy Currington, Jerrod Niemann and Danielle Bradbery will all be performing this summer, and they hope that these famous faces will draw people downtown. In fact, Parks and Recreation says last year 20,000 people came downtown to concerts. Parks and Recreation Communication Specialist Russell Carter says the concerts don't bring in a profit, but they are just good for the area."Right now that's the big thing, we have the new fountain, new businesses, new restaurants, so it's just great to have that kind of buzz around that area," said Carter.Tickets start going on sale May 2.
