Danville, VA - Dozens of women in Danville got together Saturday to learn more about how they can improve their health.
The Ladies Auxiliary of Sacred Heart Church held their fifth annual Women's Health Fair.
Because February is heart health month, they focused on women's heart health.
They also discussed diabetes, nutrition, and the importance of exercising.
The organizer says it's important for women to be aware of different health issues, so they learn how to make better health choices.
"A lot of times I think women are always taking care of everybody else and they don't think sometimes about them, themselves and they need to take care of themselves," said Chris Tyburski , Vice President of the Ladies Auxiliary.
The Ladies Auxiliary says they also put the health fair together in honor of their past President, Marge Murray.
