Danville, VA - Officials are investigating a shooting in Danville that left one man in critical condition Friday.
Officials say they found a 30-year-old man shot on Washington Street around 11 a.m. He was taken to Danville Regional Medical Center and will be flown to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for further treatment. He is currently listed in critical condition.
"The people around just said they heard shots fired we don't know how many yet, the cartridge casings and whatever will be in the house so that's what we're going in the house to try and locate," said Lieutenant Scott Eanes with the Danville Police Department.
