UPDATE: Danville Man Wanted for Stalking Arrested for Second Time in W.Va, Now Back in Va
UPDATE: The man arrested two times in West Virginia for a stalking charge in Danville is back in custody in our area. Berkley Furgurson is currently in the Danville City Jail with no bond. He was arrested in West Virginia last month for the charge and was told to return to Danville. Police say he never did and was arrested again in West Virginia.----------UPDATE: The man who was arrested in West Virginia twice on stalking charges will soon be back in Danville.Danville Police tell us Berkley Furgurson is expected to be returned to Virginia within the next 48 hours. After Furgurson was arrested the first time in West Virginia he was set free and ordered to return to Danville. He never made it to Danville and was arrested again in West Virginia.---------Pocahontas Co., WV- A Danville man wanted for stalking was arrested for a second time in West Virginia Sunday.30-year-old Berkley Allen Furgurson is wanted in Danville for misdemeanor stalking. He was arrested in Pocahontas County, WV on July 15th, but made bond and was released on the condition that he turn himself in to Danville police. He never did.Sunday morning he was arrested again in Pocahontas County. Danville Police say if Furgurson remains in custody, he will be extradited back to Virginia to stand trial at a later date.
