CIT, a financial services firm in Danville, is part of a fundraising drive to raise money for local non-profits that need help. They chose House of Hope.
Stephen Anderson, Director of House of Hope said donations are very low this summer, and the much needed prize money will help keep the facility up and running.
"Our staff has to be paid and then sometimes there's hauling folks back and forth to help them get to doctors appointments, and when they're going on job interviews. There's just so many things," said Stephen.
As of August 6 House of Hope was third in the running out of 12. You can vote online once a day until August 29. Click here to vote.
