Danville, VA-- Danville's Fridays at the Crossing is making major changes.
The Danville Harvest Jubilee Board put out a survey in January, asking for the public's opinion of the event. More than 1100 people responded, and a large portion asked for a change of location.
So now it's moved to the Community Market, instead of the Carrington Pavilion. Others asked to change the day.
"We did have a lot of complaints that people didn't like them on Fridays," said Gina Craig, Danville Harvest Jubilee Board Member. "People wanted something on Saturday nights. They didn't like to get off work, have to go home and then come back out."
The event is now called River District Rhythms, and will still start at 6 p.m. on Saturdays. The first event is May 4 with a beach night theme.
