Danville, VA - Several children in Danville had a chance to learn about safety and had some fun at the same time Saturday.
Bridgetown Church held their first Kids Safety Day in the Danville Stadium Cinemas parking lot.
There was plenty of food and games.
Regional One EMS was also on hand to do car seat safety checks.
The Danville Sheriff's Office informed parents about Project Lifesaver and how to keep their children safe.
The Danville Fire Department was also on site to allow kids to explore a fire truck.
"We really appreciate the community and emergency services folks coming out and helping out with what we're doing here," said Pastor of Bridgetown Church Jeff Lynch.
Bridgetown Church meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. inside the Danville Stadium Cinema.
