C. W. Seay To Be Honored With Historical Marker

Lynchburg, VA - A community leader who led efforts in Lynchburg to create equal educational opportunities for black students is being honored next month with the dedication of an historical marker.

Clarence William Seay was the principal for of the all-black Dunbar High School for 30 years.
He retired from Dunbar in 1968 and taught at Lynchburg College.
Next months dedication will be in front of Seay's former residence in Lynchburg.
Seay died in 1982.
