Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg hair salon held a cut-a-thon Sunday to raise money for a 12-year-old boy recovering from a car accident.
Elisha Kahlich was hit by a car while he was riding his bike back in August.
A big group came out to Sage Tryall Salon in Lynchburg for the fundraiser. The salon is donating 100 % of the proceeds to Elisha's family for his treatments.
He suffered a fractured skull and a broken leg from the accident. His mother says he's been doing a lot better, and she's grateful for all the help.
"I'm just so humbled and thankful for people who rallied around our story, rallied around Elijah. To continue praying, to continue supporting. It's just humbling," said Robin Foutz, Elisha's mother.
The salon was open all day for the cut-a-thon. They say about 50 people came in to support Elisha.
