Crews Respond to Fire in Appomattox Trailer Park, No Injuries

Appomattox, VA - A fire at a trailer park destroyed one mobile home and significantly damaged another one Wednesday afternoon.

Crews from the Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire on 277 Sleepy Hollow Drive at 3:05 p.m.

Officials say two abandoned mobile homes were on fire in the Sleepy Hollow Community. They extinguished the fire in 30 minutes.

Nobody lives in the trailers, and there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
