Crews Control House Fire in Roanoke, No Injuries

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke fire officials say a wood stove caused a house to catch fire overnight Monday.

The 911 call came in about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday from the 1300 block of Tomi Lane.

The fire was under control in less than 10 minutes.

Officials say six people were home at the time the fire started and were able to get out safely.

The damage is estimated to be about $7,000.
