Bedford Co., VA - Bedford County's coyote lottery gets underway Wednesday.
This is the second year of the initiative which is designed to reduce the coyote population.
Last year, about 100 coyotes were killed.
For every coyote killed, the participant will receive an entry into a lottery.
The top prize is $2,000, second is $1,000, followed by $500 and $200 for third and fourth place.
The lottery runs through March 15.
