Bedford, VA - Hunting with guns might soon be allowed inside Bedford town limits, just in time for hunting season.
Town Council could decide Tuesday night to change the firearms ordinance.
An advisory committee recommended hunting still be permitted on land that was once in the county, but is now within town limits under reversion.
In other words, the committee is asking to grandfather in the properties.
The ordinance change would also allow hunting with firearms on any property that's 10 acres or more within the original city limits.
