Christiansburg Man Rescued From Fire, Airlifted to North Carolina Hospital

Christiansburg, VA- A Christiansburg man is recovering in the hospital after being pulled from a trailer fire Friday morning.

Officials say the fire happened around 10 a.m. in the 2700 block of Roanoke Street. We're told the 51-year-old's neighbors spotted the fire, and pulled him from the burning trailer.

The man, who's identity has not been released, was airlifted to a burn center in Winston-Salem, NC. We do not know his condition.

Officials say the trailer is a total loss, and the fire is still under investigation.
