Child in Hospital After Getting Run Over by Trailer in Lynchburg
Update 4:50 p.m.:
Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg police say the 6-year-old boy involved in the accident has been flown to Roanoke Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries. He is listed in critical but stable condition.
Police say the accident happened in the parking lot off Wards Road around 1:30 p.m. They say the 6-year-old was walking in the parking lot when he was hit by the driver of a Ford F250 with an attached utility trailer.

Lynchburg, VA - A child is at Lynchburg General Hospital Friday afternoon after police say a trailer on a truck ran him over.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. in the parking lot of Gold's Gym on Wards Road.
According to the Lynchburg Traffic Unit, the child tried jumping on the trailer as it was driving in the parking lot, but missed, and the trailer's wheels ran him over.
Officials say the boy is suffering from a fractured femur, but he is conscious and awake.
