Chatham Middle School Dress Code Revised
Pittsylvania Co., VA - After hearing from several outraged parents this year, the Pittsylvania County School Board voted to amend a new dress code at Chatham Middle School.
The new policy, which was agreed upon by school administrators and the PTO, now allows students to wear designer logos on sweatshirts and hoodies.
Boots, which were previously banned, can also now be worn, and repeated patterns, like camouflage, are allowed on jackets and sweaters.
Some parents are still unhappy with the policy, but board members say they felt the changes are fair.
