Charity Softball Game Scheduled Monday Night in Forest
Forest, VA - Forest area clergy members and Bedford County first responders will play softball under the lights Monday night at the FYAA Sports Complex.
It will be the third annual softball game to benefit Bedford Domestic Violence Services.
The pastors have won the last two games.
"We've been lucky the last two years. We've been fortunate. We're going to give it all we got this year too," said game organizer Pastor Al Stewart.
"We have a good time talking back and forth. I always tell them they have God on their side that's the reason they win," said Lt. Todd Foreman with the Bedford Police Department.
The game starts at 7 p.m.
Admission is $3 at the gate.
Children under 13 get in free.
