Charges Dropped Against Former Amherst Co. Investigator
Amherst Co., VA - Charges have now been officially dropped against a former Amherst County investigator who had been put on probation for trying to buy painkillers illegally.
Lindy Inge was charged in June of 2010 with "attempting to possess oxycontin" after he tried to buy $150 worth from a man who was once a confidential informant.
In June of 2011, a judge sentenced him under first offender drug status, and told him if he followed through with his probation and community service the charges would be dismissed.
Court records show the judge officially dropped the charge last Wednesday.
