Update: Chairman of Pittsylvania Co. Board of Supervisors Dies
Update:Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Chairman of the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors has passed away.
Marshall Ecker died at his home earlier today of a possible heart attack while working on a home improvement project.
Ecker was elected to the Board in 2007 and became chairman earlier this year.
He took great pride in his commitment to keeping the ban on uranium mining and fighting for Christian prayer in the Supervisors' meetings.
Ecker was 68-years-old.
Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Chairman of the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors, Marshall Ecker, passed away Thursday.
The board is expected to released a statement later.
