Cavs Not Taking Louisiana Tech Lightly

Charlottesville - Virginia takes a 2-and-2 record into Saturday's 3:30 home game against Louisiana Tech. The defending WAC champions are undefeated and are actually road favorites for the game.

Louisiana Tech is NOT an easy game any more. They're 3-and-0 with wins over Houston, Rice and Illinois, averaging 54 points a game.
Mike London, UVA HEAD COACH, said "But they've given up some points as well. This has kind of been a back and forth. Coming from the WAC Conference, there's a lot of spread out, throw the ball all over the place but the interesting thing about this team is their balance, they move the ball on the ground and in the air."
Fifth-year quarterback Colby Cameron has completed 69 percent of his passes with 11 touchdowns and no interceptions.
Khalek Sbepard, VIRGINIA SOPHOMORE PUNT RETURNER, said "I've known of Louisiana Tech and know that they are a good team and I actually saw the bowl game against TCU and saw that they were a good team so they aren't a team that me or my teammates overlooked when we looked at the schedule."
D.J. Hill, VIRGINIA SOPHOMORE LINEBACKER, said "They're a good team. Numbers speak for themselves. They're a Top 20 offense, kind of similar to TCU, a spread team."
UVa will wear throwback uniforms Saturday modeled after the 1968 team that feature Frank Quayle. He will be recognized at halftime.
