Causelife Raises $150,000 to Build Wells

Lynchburg, VA - A movement is happening in Central Virginia that organizers say will change the world. Causelife, a humanitarian organization based in Forest builds wells around the globe to provide locals with clean water.

Tuesday, they hosted their third annual golf invitational at Boonsboro County Club. About 100 golfers came out. The group held their banquet Monday night. They were able to raise a pretty penny during the two-day event to help people in more than 62 countries.

"It's hard to top the first year. We raised about $75,000, and then last year we raised nearly $140,000, and I'm saying, 'Oh my goodness, how are we going to top that?' The people here in Boonsboro and the people in Lynchburg, VA have been overwhelmingly supporting this cause and we raised over $150,000," Kevin Foster, Host of the Cause Life Invitational said.

The goal is to impact a million people in the next five years.
