Lynchburg, VA - Lots of purple Tuesday night at City Stadium - all for Alzheimer's Awareness.
Cats for a Cause Night raised money for the Alzheimer's Association Central and West Virginia Chapter.
Five dollars of a regular priced nine dollar ticket went toward to cause.
Even the Association's CEO and President got to hand out the first pitch of the night's game.
Sue Friedman, M.S says "Our goal is always to raise awareness. So we hope that everyone here pays attention and knows we're here, maybe stops by and gets some information."
The group was also there to promote their annual event - where teams of families, friends, churches, or coworkers can register and participate.
The Lynchburg Walk to End Alzheimer's is scheduled for Saturday October 11th in Wyndhurst.
