Carolers Bring Christmas Cheer to Danville

Danville, VA- A group of carolers from North Carolina brought some Christmas cheer to Danville on Friday.

The Carolers of Christmas Past performed in a concert at the Ballou Recreation Center. But they're not your usual carolers: the quartet was dressed in authentic Victorian era clothing.

They said it's to go along with their old world carols, plus, it's an attention getter.

It wouldn't be Christmas without putting on this lovely costuming and going around making hearts bright including our own," Caroler Nate Pendley said. "It's just a lot of fun. You can't have a bad day when your just singing and seeing smiling faces."

Although it isn't Victorian, they say their big hit on Friday was "You're a mean one Mr. Grinch." Their next stop Friday is in Roanoke for Dickens of a Christmas.
