Car Flips in Amherst Co., Driver Only Has Minor Injuries

Amherst Co., VA- An accident on Route 29 in Amherst County Wednesday afternoon has even state troopers shaking their heads.

Troopers say the driver, an 18-year-old college student, was ejected from a convertible after skidding off the road and flipping over several times, near the Route 130 exit.

The driver walked away from the accident with just bumps and bruises.

He's been charged with reckless driving and not wearing a seat belt.
