Campbell Co., VA - A Campbell County couple has returned home from Ukraine with a new son.
Steve and Chrystal Anders spent 28 days in the country while adopting Tavin, 2. Despite the turmoil in Ukraine, the family did not have any problems.
Tavin is adjusting to his new home and two older brothers.
"It's really exciting, just to see the reality of a real little boy," said Chrystal Anders. "His new brothers have just loved him. Just accepted him right in."
Tavin has a muscle condition and has never learned to walk. It can be easily corrected by American doctors. The family has already been in contact with a children's hospital in Philadelphia. The hospital is booked up until November.
