Cameron Carter - Heritage Junior Guard

Cameron Carter{}really can do it all. She stands as tall as she can at 5 foot 8 inches and has the ability to score from any where on the court. She was named Seminole District Player of the Year for the second straight season and this year was named Region III Co-Player of the Year.

She averaged 21 points, 8.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 4.4 steals, 2 blocks a game while shooting 50 percent from the floor and 75 percent from the free throw line.

Head coach Tracie Hayes said, "I've been coaching a long time and have seen a number of players play at the next level and Cameron is the most talented player I've ever coached. She plays with no fear."

Carter is capable of making moves that other high school girls can't make and she has worked extremely hard to develop a well-rounded game.

The best part for Pioneer fans is she has one more year left. She plans to play basketball in college and has received interest from VCU, Liberty, Tennessee, Richmond, a number of other Big South teams, and UNC Greensboro, among others.

Hayes said, "Cameron will definitely play Division One."
