Buzzing in Town Week of Sept. 10
We have had beautiful sunny weather, and you can soak it up this Thursday at the third annual Wing Fling! Come out to Benjamin's Restaurant in Forest from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. For $15, you can enjoy all you can eat wings and live music. The band Dragonfly will be performing, and there will also be a hot wing eating contest.
Ellington Fridays are back in Lynchburg, and The Ellington is kicking it off with Jenny Reynolds & Cherry Hill. The acoustic band plays classic rock and blues and will be on stage at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door, and there will be some tasty appetizers there.
On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Lynchburg Beer and Wine Festival is back! You can taste from 20 of our area's best wineries and breweries. There will also be local vendors and live music on stage all day. That's at Riverfront Festival Park 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. You can get tickets for $15 if you buy them in advance online.
Also SaturdayE.C. Glass High School is having the Lynchburg Art Festival. The festival celebrates its 40th year, and it will feature more than 140 artists. There will also be an art show from high school students. That's 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
