Buzz Nov. 2-3: Pancake Jamboree, Bluegrass Fest & Green Energy Expo

If you love pancakes and good company, you don't want to miss The Lynchburg Exchange Club's 53rd Annual Pancake Jamboree! Come out Friday, November 2 to the Lynchburg City Armory for some all-you-can-eat pancakes. I, along with other ABC 13 reporters, will be there making some pancakes- so stop by and say hello. That's from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and tickets are $9 to get in. All of the money from the jamboree goes to local charities.

In Brooknealit's the Bluegrass, Barbecue and Brew Festival! The Bluegrass Brothers will perform at Patrick Henry's Red Hill all day. There will be a ton of food vendors and arts and crafts. You can also taste from four local breweries. That's 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. Buy tickets online here.

Also this weekend - you can learn about saving energy and ways you can live green. The 13th Annual Green Living and Energy Expo is Friday and Saturday. The Roanoke Civic Center will have exhibits and workshops about energy conservation and green building. You can also learn about solar energy, wind power and local food. That's free!
