Buzz: Easter Eggs Hunts in Lynchburg & Stand-Up Comedy in Roanoke

Easter is finally here, and you know what that means: egg hunts! There are two of them going on in Lynchburg on Saturday, March 30.

Amazement Square is having its annual Easter Egg Hunt and petting zoo celebration. Starting at 11 a.m., children can take part in the hunt packed with animal facts and crafts. Then from noon to 2 p.m., they can meet and greet mini horses, donkeys, llamas and rabbits. That's all free with a ticket to the museum.

Also, The Patrick Henry's Red Hill will also have an egg hunt Saturday. Come out 10 a.m. to noon to the beautiful grounds for a fun day for the whole family. That's free for everyone.

And it may not FEEL like it, but Spring is technically here. Peaks of Otter is hosting its Blossom to Bottle Open House all day Saturday. You can do wine tasting and have a picnic. That's noon to 5 p.m.

The stand-up comedian and actor Jim Gaffigan will be on stage at the Roanoke Civic Center You can get still get tickets to the show that's part of his "The White Bread Tour." Gaffigan has made several appearances on late night's "Letterman" and "Conan." He's also been in several films and TV shows. Check him out Saturday at 7 p.m. Get ticket info here.{}
