Danville, VA - Danville is getting a makeover on Main Street, but construction has been a roadblock for some local businesses.

Cibo employees have noticed a marked decline in traffic.

The construction has limited parking, and employees say there's been a lot of confusion since the project started.

There's a back entrance many don't know about, as well as a ramp to help pedestrians enter the restaurant from the front.

The city has encouraged people to support the local shops through signs and outreach. But employees say they are ready for the end of this work.

"I don't know all the business members, but I have heard several of them, you know, say that it has greatly affected them as well," said Michele Nuso, assistant manager of Cibo.

Work is expected to be done by September of next year.
