Lynchburg, VA- It has a whole new look and Thursday Buffalo Wild Wings in Lynchburg reopened after being closed for nine days.
More than a hundred people waited in line Thursday morning for the grand re-opening. The first hundred through the doors got free wings for a year.
Buffalo Wild Wings says the million dollar remodel includes everything from a bar update, to new TVs, furniture, ceilings, and floors.
The Lynchburg Regional Chamber of Commerce got out the big scissors to cut the ribbon on the new restaurant. B-Dubs says the remodel has really helped the local economy.
"We use a lot of local contractors, from our construction people, our electricians, so we really feel the economy got a boost by doing a remodel- little over a million dollar remodel here in Lynchburg. And we really feel like the tie in the community will be big for us," said Mark Puckett who is the President of ACI Holdings, the corporation that owns Buffalo Wild Wings.
The celebration didn't stop at the re-opening. In honor of the remodel, Buffalo Wild Wings says Saturday from eleven until three, 20% of all sales will go the Boys and Girls Club of Lynchburg.
