Boys & Girls Club Shows Appreciation by 'Mugging'

Lynchburg, VA - There was another mugging of sorts Thursday in Lynchburg. We are talking about coffee mugs this time, not crime.

It's a way to honor groups that have helped the Lynchburg Boys & Girls Club.

The club mugged Genworth Financial. With Genworth's help, the Boys &Girl's club has been able to provide programs for Lynchburg's young people since 2005.

The club is also raising money September 30 with a bean bag throwing tournament at Benjamin's in Forest.

"All of the proceeds from this event for go to support the programs

at the Boys & Girls Club, which to support over 200 at risk youth

in our city," said Dani Hottle.

You can register for the tournament on the Boys & Girls Club website.
