Botetourt Co. Authorities Bust 'Mobile' Meth Lab

Brandon Wolfe

Botetourt Co., VA - Botetourt County Sheriff Ronnie Sprinkle says it's a new concern in the world of drug law enforcement.

They recently busted a mobile meth lab right in the middle of rush hour on Route 460.

Christopher Paitsell, 39, and Brandon Wolfe, 21, both of New Castle, have been charged with manufacturing and possession of meth.

Authorities say undercover deputies found the two on Route 460 in Blue Ridge about 5:30 p.m. Friday working with the materials in a Jeep.

Both men are being held in the Botetourt-Craig Regional Jail.

The Virginia State Police Clandestine Laboratory Response Team examined and processed what they found in the Jeep and had to call another team remove the hazardous-materials and to decontaminate.
