Lynchburg, VA - Thousands of people came out to Lynchburg's beer and wine festival downtown on Saturday.
This is the second year of the event, and it's really gaining popularity.
For just 20 bucks at the gate...people got unlimited samples of local beverages, but some people just shopped for hand made gifts.
There was also plenty of food to go around to compliment the wine.
For some locals, it's their first time attending the event, and they say it probably won't be their last.
"I think it's great. People get to drink, people get to have fun and they get to see downtown when they probably never get to come around here," Dan Lawo said.
Lots of local vendors set up shop like Devil's Backbone in Nelson County, and the Jefferson Street Brewery, which is just a few blocks from the festival.
