Update: Woman Charged With Killing 2-Year-Old Son in Bedford County
Bedford Co., VA - Search warrants have revealed that the child's mother confessed to killing him. Shana Witt admitted she suffocated Jordan with a large stuffed dog toy.
Court records also indicate the boy's father, Michael Smith, told police his wife removed meth, cocaine, and marijuana from the home before calling 911.
During a search of the couple's trailer an investigator found a stuffed animal matching the description the mother gave at the head of the toddler's bed.
The funeral services have been made but will not be open to the public.
