Bedford Co., VA - Officials say a man wanted for conducting a water treatment scam in Bedford County is also wanted for similar scams in Ohio.
Investigators with the Bedford County Sheriff's Office say Larry Foster, who is in his forties, has showed up at people's home claiming he represents Advances Rejuvenation in Danville. He tries to have people sign a false contract and offers a discount for advance payment.
Officials say Foster is a career scam artist known to operate in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Virginia.
Foster was reportedly arrested in West Virginia earlier this week but was released on bond on Wednesday.
Officials believe Foster is driving a white 2001 Lincoln bearing Kentucky tag 305EFZ.
