"Be a Santa to a Senior" This Holiday Season


Lynchburg, VA - ABC-13 needs your help assisting hundreds of senior citizens this holiday season.Home Instead Senior Care kicked off its "Be a Santa to a Senior" program Tuesday. {}You will find Christmas trees at area stores and restaurants with ornaments representing a senior in need.Home Instead partners with agencies like the Department of Social Services and the Central Virginia Area Agency on Aging to identify seniors who could be helped by the program. {}They are either low-income or have no family. {}Some don't have either.They will be collecting gifts through December 4th. {}
