'Be a Santa to a Senior' Program Underway in Lynchburg & Roanoke

Lynchburg, VA - Organizers of the area's "Be a Santa to a Senior" program say there aren't very many ornaments left on this year's trees.

They've been up for a little over a week in the Lynchburg and Roanoke area and ask for a few gifts for needy senior citizens.

About 90 % of the ornaments are gone.

If you still want to help, look for new tags on the trees that will tell you how to sign up for "Santa's Rescue Squad."

On December 3, Home Instead Senior Care may call you and ask if you can help them buy gifts for any unreturned ornaments.

Remember - if you took an ornament from a "Be a Santa for a Senior Tree", they need those gifts back by December 4.

Find out how you can get involved in the program in Lynchburg or in Roanoke.
