Baked Tomatoesby: Chef Emerald Coleman
- 2 28oz cans Whole tomatoes
- 1 small Onion, diced
- 1 1/2 cups Sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bread or Dinner rolls as needed
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place tomatoes in a large mixing bowl and crush with your hands to break up tomatoes.
3. Add onion, sugar, salt and pepper to tomatoes and stir to dissolve some of the sugar.
4. Pour into a 9X9 baking dish and place torn bread or rolls into dish with tomatoes.
