The Sheriff's Office says that they contacted Wood's mother Monday, who said that Woods would be turning himself in to authorities then.

Henry Co., VA -- The Henry County Sheriff's Office wants people to know they are actively looking for the suspect after a car accident killed 4 people.

Officials are searching for Lamont Anthony Woods. They say that Woods got into an argument, which led to shots fired at a man inside a car. Two women, the man, and a 6-month-old sped away toward the hospital where they got in an accident, according to authorities.
Takea Turner, Manesha Ward, Lamar Ward, and 6-month-old Lazarius Woods were all killed.
Lamont Woods faces charges of attempted murder, malicious wounding and others. The sheriff's office says they have had many leads to his whereabouts, but none have come through.
Sheriff Perry says he believes Woods is still in the area.
"When we came back to the office late Saturday evening. Phone calls were rolling in and pretty much have been yesterday and this morning. Anytime something involves a child, it stirs just a deeper emotion," said Perry.
They expect to hear back from the preliminary autopsy in the next couple of days. They ask that if you know anything to call Crimestoppers at 276-63CRIME.
