Salem - Defending league champion Randolph-Macon tops the ODAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll.

ODAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll:

1. Randolph-Macon (8) - 117 pts.

2. Hampden-Sydney (4) - 114 pts.

3. Va. Wesleyan - 102 pts.

4. Guilford - 91 pts.

5. Randolph - 66 pts.

6. Lynchburg - 64 pts.

7. E. Mennonite - 62 pts.

8. Bridgewater - 54 pts.

8. Washington & Lee - 54 pts.

10. Roanoke - 30 pts.

11. Emory & Henry - 22 pts.

Dee Vick, 5TH-YEAR HAMPDEN-SYDNEY COACH, said "We're expecting a good year. You know we have nine of our top 10 scorers returning from a team that went 23-and-5 and made a trip to the NCAA Tournament. So we're real excited about this upcoming year."

Adam Hutchinson, 11TH-YEAR W&L COACH, said "I think we shoot the ball pretty well and the level of buy-in from the guys has been remarkably high this fall. So what that's allowed is the learning has been really accelerated."Hilliary Scott, 6TH-YEAR LYNCHBURG COACH, said "I think we'll be as athletic or more athletic than we have been in the past. We're going to have to play fast. We'll be a little undersized this year, we had quite a few seniors who graduated off our team last year."
Clay Nunley, 7TH-YEAR RANDOLPH COACH, said "I know we've got a lot of unknowns right now. We've got a younger team, a team that I think has good potential, a team that I'm excited to coach. But we are going to have to answer some questions about who we are."
