Area Non-Profits to Benefit From New Partnership
Lynchburg, VA - A local group kicked off a new partnership Tuesday that will help area non-profits grow.
Central Virginia Academy for Nonprofit Excellence is a non-profit program that provides training opportunities for non-profit organizations in the area.
Starting in January they will have training sessions at CVCC.
The training will include how to raise funds, how to do marketing, and many other topics needed to run an effective non-profit.
As of today you can sign up for the three hour classes that will run throughout the spring.
"You have great non-profits here in the Lynchburg area. This organization is going to help make them even stronger." said Former First Lady of Virginia Anne Holton.
"Lynchburg is such a terrific community in terms of how people engage in volunteer work, engage in non-profit work to help support others around them and this is an institution that helps support many of those small non-profits," said David Neumeyer, President of CVANE.
The class sessions will be $49 each.
You can register for the classes online, by phone, or by mail.
