Architects Reveal Designs for New Heritage HS

Lynchburg, VA - For the first time Tuesday, Lynchburg City School Board members got a glimpse of what the new Heritage High School may look like.

Architects presented detailed design plans and pictures to the board.

They were drawn up after the Heritage Design Committee, made up of school and community members, held a workshop to discuss the needs for a future Heritage High School.

The new facility will be 252,000 square feet, will include a new Governor's School, and will sit in a new spot on the existing Heritage plot.

In the coming weeks, administrators will hold one final review of the plans, and then present a final design to the school board for approval.
