Annual Holiday Bazaar Gives Jump Start on Holiday Shopping

Danville, VA-- The City of Danville is helping residents get a jump start on their Holiday shopping. The annual Farmers Market Holiday Bazaar was held at the Community Market on Saturday.

Over 80 local vendors were there to show off their workmanship. There was everything from paintings to jewelry.

Francis Horsley sells jellies, Christmas ornaments, and a variety of other products. She comes to the bazaar every year and says she's developed a loyal customer base.

"It allows the vendors to show their handicrafts," said Horsley. "It allows people to become familiar with the work that they do and so it supports the community."

If you missed the bazaar, Danville will also have a Holiday Market in two weeks
