Amherst Co. Sheriffs Arrest Man Wanted for Murder in Alabama

Amherst Co., VA - The Amherst County Sheriff's Office arrested a driver they say is wanted for killing two people in Alabama.

Cameron Rayford, 29, was arrested on Route 29 on Sunday. The sheriff's office says he was driving 100 miles per hour.

They say Rayford was out on bond in Alabama and was not supposed to leave the state. He faces capital murder charges and was charged in Amherst County with reckless driving.

The passenger in the car, Nikeem McDory, 21, was charged with drug possession.
