Update: Amherst Co. Officials Looking for Two People Involved in Drug Operation

Update Friday 4:15 p.m.:

Amherst Co., VA - Officials with the Amherst County Sheriff's Office say three of the five people they were looking for have turned themselves in.

Shaw, Ingram and Nuindi turned themselves in to officials Thursday and Friday.

The are still looking for Haywood Scott Rucker III and Eric Joseph Gravette.


Amherst Co., VA - The Amherst County Sheriff's Office is still looking for five people they say are wanted in connection to a huge drug bust.

Officials released the names of people they say are part of Operation Avalanche, which they say is the largest drug operation the county has ever seen.

  • Eric Joseph Gravette, a 29-year-old male of Oakridge Drive Madison Heights Virginia
  • Haywood Scott Rucker III, a 18-year-old male of Galt's Mill Road Madison Heights Va
  • Shaquille Oneil Ingram, a 19 year-old-male of Three Creeks Circle Lynchburg Va
  • Kathenge Nding R Muindi, a 19-year-old male of Marion Road Chatham Va
  • Kolton Gene Shaw, a 19-year-old male of Weeping Willow Drive Lynchburg Va
